Hold a pair of dumbbells at your sides, your palms facing each other. Lower yourself into a squat, and then jump as high as you can.
Will I jump higher if I lose weight?
Weight loss may help your jumping ability. The lighter you are, the less weight your muscles have to propel in a jump -- so yes, losing body fat will make jumping easier. But thats not the only way you can, or should, increase your jumping power.
Does your weight affect your vertical jump?
